Join us for a special show called “Storm Effect.”
We’ll remember long-time Floyd sleeve designer Storm Thorgerson (d. April 18, 2013) by playing from albums all designed by Storm and his team at Hipgnosis.
Hear cuts from The Pretty Things, 10cc, Scorpions, and, of course … Pink Floyd.

Surrogate Bands, Floydian Slip’s annual Pink Floyd cover contest, has been postponed until 2021.
In light of the pandemic, we didn’t think it responsible to ask musicians to gather in close quarters of recording studios to lay down tracks to submit to the contest.
We’ll announce details of our 10th annual contest in Spring ’21.
We began Surrogate Bands in 2011 as a way for musicians to celebrate the music of Pink Floyd by recording their own versions of Floyd songs to submit to the contest. Winners have been featured during “Surrogate Bands,” a special all-covers edition of the “Floydian Slip” radio show, broadcast every July.
The “Surrogate Bands” program will air as scheduled this July, without the contest element.
