U.K. magazine Classic Rock will mark the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” when it features the album on a special 3D cover later this month.
“The 30th anniversary of ‘The Wall’ is a major milestone in the history of Pink Floyd and the lives of our readers, so it was only right to celebrate with a cover as mind expanding as their music,” says publisher Chris Ingham.
The cover will features a number of Floydian images such as a flying pig, marching hammers and pyramid. Classic Rock says the cover will be the first high-definition 3D magazine cover published in the U.K.
The issue will include an eight-page article about the album, including previously unpublished behind-the-scenes photos from the making of the 1982 film, “Pink Floyd The Wall.”
The issue will be available Nov. 11 in the U.K., and Dec. 9 in the United States, at stores such as Barnes and Nobles and Borders.
