New Music Express (NME) reports the Royal Mail will introduce a line of album-inspired postage stamps in 2010, including one devoted to Pink Floyd’s “The Division Bell” (1994).
Citing postage stamp collecting site Norvic Philatelics, NME says the series of 10 will be issued Jan. 7, and will also include album artwork from:
- The Clash (London Calling)
- New Order (Power, Corruption & Lies)
- The Rolling Stones (Let It Bleed)
- Led Zeppelin (IV)
- Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells)
- Primal Scream (Screamadelica)
- David Bowie (The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars)
- Coldplay (A Rush of Blood to the Head)
- Blur (Parklife)
