“Floydian Slip” coming to KSNO 103.9 FM (Aspen, CO)

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KSNO 103.9 FM in Aspen, CO, Thursday, Dec. 2. The station will carry the show Thursdays at 7 p.m. MT.

“K-Snow” is an 6,000-watt adult album alternative (AAA) station serving the greater Aspen area. It also broadcasts at 103.9 FM, Glenwood Springs.

KSNO is the latest station to join the Random Precision Radio Network, a collection of more than 100 broadcasters that air “Floydian Slip,” produced in our Shelburne, Vt., studio.

Shine on, Aspen!

Photographer Mick Rock dead at 72

Syd Barrett photographer Mick Rock, the man who “The Man Who Shot the ’70s,” has died. He was 72.

A London native, Rock’s portfolio includes photos of David Bowie, Lou Reed, Queen, Joan Jett, Talking Heads, Sex Pistols, Blondie and many others.

Rock shot the cover photo for Pink Floyd co-founder Barrett’s “The Madcap Laughs” (1970). In 2001 he published the book “Psychedelic Renegades,” a 950-copy limited edition devoted to Barrett, who autographed 320 deluxe leather-bound copies.
