Seven Days is Floydian Slip’s local alternative weekly. We’re heard on WIZN 106.7 FM in Burlington and WDVT 94.5 FM in Rutland — both areas served by the paper — and our secret basement broadcast lab is in nearby Shelburne.

Great article! I was definitely intrigued how the business side of things worked. So you have to find the six minutes of “pre-baked” ads yourself, correct? Is finding the advertising hard?
Correct. For ad sales I partner with a third party based in Cleveland, which fills my network commercial “inventory” each week. National advertisers really can’t deal directly with operations as small as myself. Economies of scale.
