In terms of popularity, this album is obscured by other heavy hitters such as Darkside of the Moon and The Wall, but in terms of musicianship this album is by far their best work. The music, the lyrics and overall narrative makes this a must have
All three blokes above are correct! Although my favourite is Wish You Were Here, this album is VASTLY underrated. I shall remain forever disappointed that the “powers that be” couldn’t see their way clear to release this brilliant work in the Immersion Boxed Set format!
