Craig,
Love your show! Listen to it every week.
I only have one nit-picky whine, though.
You’ve remarked a number of times that ‘Piper’ was the only “Syd” album. And while ‘Piper’ was the only album that he can be considered the driving force and main writer, I strongly believe he was a crucial part of ‘Secrets’. Yes, he only wrote one song, but if I understand correctly he did play guitar on a number of ‘Secret’ songs and many of these songs were written during ‘Piper’. And, it can also easily be argued that songs like Richard Wright’s ‘Remember the Day’ and ‘See Saw’ were trying to mimic his lyrics and style. And the title song definitely links one to ‘Interstellar Overdrive’ or ‘Astronomy Domine’. I strongly believe ‘Secrets’ can still be considered a true “Syd” album. In fact, I’d even call the two albums, “A Nice Pair”. *smirk* 🙂
