A pink motorcycle formerly owned by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason will be auctioned at the International Classic Motorcycle Show in Stafford, England.
The Honda VF500 will go on the block April 24 to benefit Think Pink Scotland, an organization that raises funds and awareness of breast cancer in Scotland.
“We were thrilled to receive the Honda and I am hopeful that Pink Floyd enthusiasts will dig deep for a great cause,” says Think Pink Scotland founder Lynn Murray. “It is a really eye catching bike and I am sure there will be plenty of people keen to start the bidding.”
Revenues from the auction will go toward Think Pink Scotland’s campaign to build a laboratory within the Beatson Translational Research Centre in Glasgow. Building work is due to start in March and £8.2 of the £10M required has already been secured.
The auction will be conducted by Bonhams.
