“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on Internet station KXRX “The X — Extreme Rock of Seattle” on Feb. 11. The station will stream the show each Friday night at 8 p.m. (PT).
The station, owned by Seattle native Jayden Prince, has been streaming since November 2009. Its moniker is inspired by the former KXRX 96.5 FM, which broadcast in Seattle from 1987 to 1994.
“That station broke the mold,” Prince says. “They were edgy and always seemed to play just outside the lines and I really wanted to pay them homage in some way because it was KXRX that gave me my love of rock and radio.”
KXRX becomes the 15th affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.
