Waters, Gilmour spotted together in Minneapolis

Posted October 26, 2010 by Floydian Slip

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune Web site, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and David Gilmour were spotted having dinner out last night.

Chris Riemenschneider writes that a local writer and music fan positively identified Gilmour as one of the members of Waters’ party at Bar La Grassa in Minneapolis, Minn., Monday night.

Waters is said to have been sporting a marching hammers hoodie. No word on Gilmour’s attire.

Fans are speculating when Gilmour will join Waters on stage during his “Wall” tour to perform “Comfortably Numb.” The guitarist made the promise as part of a deal that brought the two together at a charity event in Oxfordshire in July. The exact date of the “Wall” reunion, however, has not been made public.

Ticket holders for tonight’s Omaha show have their fingers crossed.

This is to prove that they’re great friends… despite all the differences concerning Pink Floyd. Wish Syd and Rick were here.
