Fender has begun selling a Roger Waters Precision Bass, named for the co-founder (and bassist) of Pink Floyd.
Black on black with a maple neck, it shares similar specs at the one used by Waters, who’s currently touring Floyd’s opus “The Wall.”
Retail price is $1,199.99. New Fender basses run from $779.99 to $3,129.99.

The Roger Water P-Bass not just “shares similar specs” it is a spot on recreation of Rogers Number 1. Measurements were meticulously taken, and electronics exactly spec’d out. Roger wanted to go with the black on black look which differs slightly from Number 1.
