All five issues of the Rock ‘n Roll Comics series have been out of print for more than 15 years. The Floyd comics chronicle rock’s most enigmatic psychedelic warriors, from their early days with Syd Barrett, through their split and later regrouping.
With art by Marvel and DC star Ken Landgraf (Wolverine, Hawkman, Nightwing & Flamebird), the collection — now published as a 148-page book — also includes updated material that brings the saga up to 2010.

The 4-minute “Beat For Peace” clip is part of a campaign focused on a meeting of world leaders about to be held at the United Nations this Friday.

Lawsuit filed over Roger Waters merchandising

Live Nation Merchandising Inc. filed suit in U.S. District Court in Boston over the use of Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters’ image on T-shirts and other merchandise.
The suit doesn’t name those it accuses of marketing the merchandise around Waters’ current tour of “The Wall.”
Live Nation says it has the exclusive right to market merchandise before, during and after “The Wall” performances.
Bootleg concert merchandise … there’s something you don’t see everyday.
