General tickets for Roger Waters‘ tour of “The Wall” went on sale this morning at 10. If our experience buying tickets for his Montreal shows coming up Oct. 19-20 is any indicator, sales are brisk.
The first date sold out within 20 minutes, along with many sections for the second show.
What’s been your experience buying tickets? Post them as replies to this message.
I was fortunate enought to be included on a pre-sale offer on the RogerWaters.com site last friday so I got my tickets for the Dec 11th Tacoma show!!! YAY!!
Had no luck getting tickets for Sept 15/16
THEN They added Sept 18th at the ACC! 3 Toronto shows to open it up!
Got my tickets, not the best but I’ll get to say I was there 😉
Going to the show in Dallas on November 21, 2010.
I purchased two tickets at the American Express presale because I was worried about a sell out. Then I was lucky to get chosen for the Roger Waters presale and grabbed two tickets their as they were better seats for only $44.00USD more per ticket. Both pairs of tickets are in sections facing the stage, one set higher up in the farthest sections the other are in the first sections above the floor. Over all the experience was good with both transactions, web paged loaded quickly was able to order with no problems.
Got my Philly tix through the livenation presale. Nosebleed seats, but I’m just happy to be there!
I got pre-sale tickets (for me and a freind) on the floor in front of the stage for the Cleveland show. And this morning I managed to get tickets for my son and daughter and thier better halves for the first show in Chicago. I am having a great day!!
Was lucky enough to get tickets through the pre-sale for the Cleveland show. The only drawback is that tickets must be picked up the day of the show, are non-transferable, etc. I guess if it deters scalpers, that’s great. My problem is that I will be traveling from out-of-state to attend the show, and if for some reason I can’t make it, I won’t be allowed to recoup the $200+…
Also, tickets were assigned to four different sections, and I don’t know where they are within those sections. Supposedly, I will be notified some time in the next few weeks exactly where they are.
We got tickets during the rogerwaters.com presale for Las Vegas. $550 – so they better be good seats! We won’t know for a few weeks which ones we got.
